Join the 100 Black Men of St. Mary Parish for our 1st Annual Fishing for Scholarships tournament on October 10, 2026, at Cypremort Point State Park. Whether you're casting from a boat or fishing from the bank, everyone is welcome to reel in speckled trout, redfish, and flounder for a great cause. Take off is at 6:00 AM, with weigh-in at 3:00 PM.Boat entries are $150 per boat (up to 3 anglers), and individual bank fishermen are encouraged to join for $50 per person. Top anglers will take home cash prizes: $500 for 1st place, $250 for 2nd place, and $150 for 3rd place. Donations are also welcome for those who'd like to support the cause without competing.

Every dollar raised goes directly toward scholarships for our youth, helping open doors to higher education for students in our community.
