EDUCATION
The Education Committee of the 100 Blackmen of St. Mary has administered and granted nearly $100,000.00 in scholarship awards to local high school seniors. The committee also conducts and annual African American History Challenge with youth across the parish.
MENTORSHIP
Mentoring is the foundation of the 100 Blackmen of St. Mary, Inc and our members conduct a mentoring program with middle school young men on a yearly basis. The goal of the program is to help mold young men that understand the overall value of community.

The Health and Wellness of our communities is just as important to the 100 Blackmen of St. Mary, Inc., as our existence. Our membership annually partners with the healthcare community to conduct free prostrate screenings during Prostrate Awareness Month and has created a Health Village during our annual SoulFood Festival to address and promote the many needs within our communities.
Economic Development
Creating economic opportunities within our communities further enhances the stake that we have in our communities. The 100 Blackmen of St. Mary strives to create such opportunities for the betterment, overall. The creation of the SoulFood Festival is just an example of the 100’s commitment.
